Aluminum

Aluminum is a commonly used adjuvant, ie: an ingredient used to provoke a sustained immune response. It’s part of the DPT vaccine which was first widely used in the late 1940s and all current vaccines containing any or all of the D (diphtheria), P (pertussis) and T (tetanus) antigens. The hepatitis B and pneumococcal vaccines and most of the meningococcal and hepatitis A vaccines also include aluminum. Like mercury, aluminum is known to be a neurotoxin.
