When Scientific Dishonesty Hurts Public Health

For decades parents have been reporting that their children succumbed to brain and immune system injuries following thimerosal containing vaccines as well as after MMR vaccine. For just as long, medical officials have been denying the validity of these reports, insisting that the “science is settled” about vaccine safety. Nevertheless information has continued to leak out casting doubt on the “science is settled” claim as increasing numbers of parents continue to witness their children’s health injuries and developmental regression following vaccination.
We now know that in 2000, a large CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) study found that indeed, thimerosal (mercury) containing vaccines do cause tics, attention deficit disorder, language and speech disorders and neurodevelopmental delays, and that these original findings were reworked and manipulated to erase the evidence of damage being done to children. Then there were the Danish studies commissioned by the CDC to prove once and for all that autism isn’t caused by mercury containing vaccines or MMR. Reanalysis of these studies by independent researchers found these studies were also methodologically flawed and manipulated. In his article, ‘Revisiting Denmark – More Rotten Than Ever’, Dr. Brian Hooker writes, “The studies used to exonerate the use of Thimerosal in vaccines and other medicines are just plain bad science, and worse – they are riddled with out-and-out lies.” …..
