Vaccine Safety Report Released
The Vaccine Safety Report by VCC researcher Nelle Maxey is the third report concerned with our Canadian surveillance systems for tracking suspected vaccine related injuries. Nelle has broadened her scope of inquiry in this report to include other vaccine related information that citizens require to make informed decisions regarding vaccination.

Edda West to speak at Total Health ’16 in Toronto
Vaccine Choice Canada’s President and fearless leader, Edda West, will be speaking at Total Health ’16 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre running from Friday April 8 to Sunday April 10. The show boasts “200 exhibitors and 60 cutting edge speakers in the natural health field. … Edda has been researching vaccine safety issues since her daughter’s severe vaccine reaction in 1977. In 1982, when Ontario passed the ‘mandatory’ Immunization of School Pupils Act, she along with other concerned parents, co-founded an Action group to protest the new law which contravened our Charter rights. Following a two year lobby effort, the Act was amended and parents won the legal right to personal belief exemptions from vaccination. No child in Ontario can be turned away from school for not having all the ‘required’ shots. Today our right to informed consent is under threat again as Ontario plans to narrow access to vaccine exemptions.”
Edda’s presentation, “Vaccine Safety: Know the Facts and the Science”, is on Friday April 8 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Saturday April 9 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Parents are increasingly concerned about the number of vaccines children receive in the first two years of life, during the most critical phases of brain and immune system development. Edda will discuss vaccine ingredients, including aluminum adjuvants, which ramp up the immune system causing inflammation that can negatively affect the developing brain, and polysorbate 80, which can breach the blood brain barrier and transport vaccine ingredients like aluminum into the brain. She will refer to the 30 years of neuroscience literature that explain the negative effects of over stimulating the immune system in the early years of life. Edda will address the Ontario government’s plans to narrow access to students’ vaccine exemptions through a legislative amendment to the Immunization of School Pupils Act, contravening our Charter rights. Dr Palevsky’s Comments: And, let’s not ignore the big elephant in the room. Vaccinations. The vitamin K shot contains castor seed oil, which has been found to cross react with other proteins in tree nuts, peanuts, and seeds. The vitamin K shot is also manufactured using egg lecithin as the phospholipid to make the injection. The tetanus shot contains casein. The flu, MMR, and Varicella are likely to also contain egg protein. The Prevnar-13 vaccine contains soy protein. And, several vaccines contain modified food starch. Who knows if this food starch is derived from corn, or even gluten? What are the most common food allergies from which children and adults are suffering today? Tree nuts, peanuts, seeds, dairy, egg, soy, corn, and gluten……..
Here’s the most basic principle in immunology. When a protein is injected into the body, like food proteins are injected into babies, children and adults every time they receive a vaccination, especially when they are bound to the adjuvant, aluminum, the body’s immune system will mount an immune reaction AGAINST the food proteins, priming the immune system to see the food proteins as foreign enemies. Once the body is re-exposed to any of these food proteins through the injection of the next vaccine, and/or through the ingestion in the diet, the immune system will mount a strong adverse reaction against the protein, causing what we know to be allergic symptoms. It’s that simple.”
