Dear Dr. Henry,
In the July 6, 2024 publication of the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Stanley Plotkin et al. [1] admitted “the need for more rigorous science” pertaining to the safety of vaccines. They noted that “In 234 reviews of various vaccines and health outcomes conducted from 1991 to 2012, the IOM found inadequate evidence to prove or disprove causation in 179 (76%) of the relationships it explored.”
What Plotkin and his fellow authors acknowledged is that the science to conclude vaccine safety is inadequate.
Additionally, in 2023 the Informed Consent Action Network confirmed that “none of the vaccine doses the CDC recommends for routine injection into children were licensed by the FDA based on a long-term placebo-controlled trial.” [2]
With these critical disclosures, it is no longer responsible or ethical for public health to claim that “vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective”.
I am writing to:
1. Confirm that you are aware of this critically important information pertaining to the absence of evidence of vaccine safety.
2. Ensure that all professionals administering vaccinations are advised of the inadequate nature of vaccine safety research and instructed to convey this critical information to those receiving vaccines.
3. Monitor to ensure that parents and care givers are fully advised of the inadequate nature of vaccine safety research as is the ethical and legal requirement for properly informed consent.
4. Recognize than minors are not mature enough to understand the significance of the lack of evidence of vaccine safety and to immediately discontinue the administration of vaccines to minors under the mature minor doctrine.
5. Ensure that the Plotin paper [1] and ICAN Childhood Vaccine Trials Summary Chart [2] are fully disseminated within the healthcare community.
Further, as a consequence of this significant disclosure, no health care professional or student ought to be required to receive any vaccine as a condition of employment or education as vaccines have not been proven to be safe either individually or in the combinations in which they are administered.
We appeal to your legal, moral and ethical responsibility to be fully transparent regarding the limitations on the evidence of vaccine safety.
