The Allison Inquiry – What Did We Learn?

The promised inquiry into the consequences of the COVID policies mandated by governments in Canada was held in Ottawa last week. The four day inquiry heard the testimony of more than 50 witnesses who shared the consequences of the COVID vaccine mandates and other measures imposed by governments that negatively impacted health, businesses, and community.

The inquiry provided an opportunity for our sitting Members of Parliament to hear directly from Canadians impacted by government-imposed measures and mandates. All Members of Parliament and Senators were invited to attend and, if so inclined, sit as Commissioners with the ability to question witnesses. Regrettably, only a handful of the more than 340 sitting MPs attended, and no Senators availed themselves to this opportunity. Mainstream media organizations were similarly invited to attend and document the proceedings, yet those seats too remained largely empty.

The limited attendance of sitting Members of Parliament is significant, particularly given that many Parliamentarians were in positions of public authority during the COVID response. Engaging directly with testimony about the consequences of those decisions requires a willingness to confront difficult questions about responsibility and accountability. The same responsibility applies to media organizations that played a key role in communicating government policy throughout that period.

To no one’s surprise, the chairs reserved for our Members of Parliament, Senators, and mainstream media were all but empty. Only a handful of sitting MPs attended, all from the Conservative Party of Canada. Every MP from the Liberal, NDP and Bloc decided, or were told, that the consequences of their decisions were of no interest.

So, what, if anything did we learn from this inquiry?

We didn’t learn anything new about COVID vaccine-caused injuries and deaths. The witnesses who testified in Ottawa were many of the same witnesses who testified during the 27 days of hearings held in 2023 – 2024 by the National Citizens Inquiry.

We didn’t learn anything about government accountability or transparency. No one from government testified at the Allison hearings to justify their mandates and measures that caused the most government-initiated damage to citizen and community health in Canadian history.

What we did learn is that our parliamentarians, for the most part, don’t care to know about the consequences of their mandates and measures. There appears to be no regret or remorse for the massive injuries and premature deaths caused by the emergency use authorization of an untested and unproven and never before used genetic technology masquerading as a vaccine.

We learned that compensation for the vaccine injured and killed is grossly inadequate and an insult for a country that purports to be compassionate and advocates for the downtrodden.

We learned that the recent narrative espousing the effects of colonialism and government imposed dictates that harm and marginalize does not apply when the dictates involve vaccinations.

We learned that our Federal Minister of Health, Majorie Michel, has learned nothing over the past five years as she continues to mouth the mantra – “Vaccines are safe and effective, and they save lives.”

We learned that the government funded media which includes all major media in Canada decided the maiming and killing of Canadians by their government was not newsworthy.

And we learned that the rule of law and our Charter of Rights and Freedoms carries little weight amongst our current elected representatives. 

What the Allison Inquiry revealed is that our governments in this country no longer serve the people of Canada, and that any illusion that Canada is a freedom-loving democracy is a lie.

We should not be surprised at the lack of compassion and accountability of our members of parliament and government controlled media as they have been consistent in their denial, fraudulent claims, and gaslighting of Canadians harmed by their actions. 

Kudos to Dean Allison and all those who testified for trying. They provided an opportunity for our members of parliament and their agents to reclaim some integrity and do what is right. Their callous disregard for the plight of Canadians tells us all we need to know. No one in Ottawa will save us from their tyranny.

I told him health units in Ontario have been indiscriminately using probation days to be retaliatory. They have used it with little kids who don't understand why for 20 days they can't go to school. I told (my son) there was a risk of this. He laughed. All his high school courses are online. He laughed mainly because it is illogical and makes no scientific sense why you would do this to a child just because the parents choose not to vaccinate.

Allison Inquiry Testimony - Ken Drysdale, an engineer and lead commissioner of the National Citizens Inquiry (NCI), testified about the work of Canada’s citizen-led investigation into the COVID-19 response. Ken led a four-member commission, with commissioners from across the country. The Inquiry heard from doctors, scientists, educators, journalists, citizens, and many others on issues including vaccine injury, lockdowns, discrimination against the unvaccinated, education, care homes, physical and mental health, civil liberties, jobs and livelihoods, and the broader social and economic impact of the pandemic response. Allison Inquiry Testimony - Dr. Thorp is a Board-Certified OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician with over 45 years of experience. Throughout his distinguished career, he has overseen countless high-risk pregnancies. He also held a position on the Board of Directors for the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for four years. A recognized expert, he has testified before U.S. Senate Committees and has been interviewed on hundreds of media platforms.
