His film highlights the stories that mainstream media ignores and that urgently need to be heard. Dan Peruzzo’s passion for producing engaging videos started in 2005 when his eyes opened to the backward mechanics of the world at large. As a self-taught Editor\, Dan started his media journey by creating fun & goofy videos with friends and family while living in Duncan\, BC. He then packed up his family and moved up Island to Courtenay and started a career as a freelance Media Producer which led to being the Mount Washington Ski Resort’s in house Video Guy\, teaching video skills for the Youth Media Project at the Comox Valley Art Gallery\, then currently as an award winning Producer for Shaw Spotlight community TV in beautiful Campbell River.
