Dear VRAN Members and Friends,

Now that the annual flu vaccine hysteria has finally subsided, we are told that the current vaccine was only 9 percent effective in protecting older people from the H3N2 which was the strain causing the most illness this flu season. We’ve also received a number of testimonials reporting serious health injuries caused by the flu vaccine. Since 1999, independent researchers have been informing the world of the ineffectiveness of flu vaccines.

 

Yet another new study has found that the infection risk for flu was nearly the same in vaccinated and unvaccinated participants and that the vaccine didn't seem to protect participants who were exposed to flu in their own household.  "Influenza vaccination seemed to provide little or no protection against flu in the 2010-11 season - the only participants who seemed to benefit from the vaccine were those who hadn't been  vaccinated before."

Flu shot didn't protect seniors well

Data found that a flu shot cut an older adult's risk of contracting a case of influenza A H3N2 that needed medical care by only nine per cent.  Dr. Michael Osterholm wants public health officials to be more frank with the public about the limitations of the flu vaccine. “What I worry about more than anything is the long-term credibility of science in public health,” he said. “Will people trust us if they don’t think that we’re being honest and forthright with the public data? Narcolepsy afflicts European children following pandemic vaccine

"Scientists have published peer-reviewed studies from Sweden, Finland and Ireland showing that the risk of developing narcolepsy after the 2009-2010 vaccination campaign was between seven and 13 times higher for children who had Pandemrix than for their unvaccinated peers. Emmanuel Mignot, one of the world's leading experts on narcolepsy at Stanford University in the United States, says that the evidence is already clearly pointing in one direction.
