As more studies reveal the underlying biomedical mechanisms by which vaccines can injure immune function on the cellular level, it is predictable that the dark forces of Vaccine Injury Denialism (VID) will shift into high gear to prevent independent inquiry into vaccine associated health risks.  “Vaccine risk deniers are working overtime to restrict public access to information, cover up vaccine injuries and deaths and violate the human right to informed consent to medical risk-taking”, writes Barabara Loe Fisher.

Spearheaded by medical opinion leaders devoted to the vaccine religion, VID’s mission is to ensure that the public remains obediently compliant with vaccine policies, and that dissenting voices are promptly drowned out.  VID’s stranglehold on the media secures the "vaccines can do no harm" myth as the only view allowed to be broadcast. Media attack dogs are poised to annihilate anyone who dares utter an alternative and more cautionary view about vaccines or advocates on behalf of vaccine injury victims.  The net result of vaccine injury denialism is today’s health disaster in which every second child is afflicted with a chronic health disorder.

The recent media feeding frenzy vilifying Jenny McCarthy exemplifies the ruthlessness of the VID cult.  Anne Dachel’s media update on The Concerted Media Thrashing of Jenny McCarthy gives us a glimpse of the vitriol aimed at this single mom who has devoted the past 11 years to helping her child recover from vaccine induced autism and has had the courage to speak truth to power.
